Valentine's Day is near, which means it's time for a Valentine's day inspired post (and eating tons of chocolate whether you're single or not). So I have to admit that I wore this dress for our family Christmas party last year, but I think this dress actually works perfectly as a Valentine's day dress as well. I really think this sequin number is a great holiday dress, so why not repeat? I was inspired to punk up my Valentine's day look after I visited Kat Von D's Wonderland Gallery a couple weeks ago and picked up this amazing burgundy/plum lipstick. Wonderland is one of the coolest stores in LA, so if you get the chance to check it out please do so! A lot of people think Valentine's day is all about pink and red, but I don't see why you can't add a little purple and darker tones to the mix!

I hope you all have a happy Valentine's day whether you spend it with your family, your significant other, your pet, or alone in bed watching Millionaire Matchmaker reruns! Just remember candy makes everything better.
